OUR EECINCURSION IN THE NEWS

We would like to say a huge thank you to The Free Press for featuring our recent incursion from the Lancefield Fire Brigade at our Lancefield Early Education Centre on the front page of the paper!

“On 31 August, members of the Lancefield Fire Brigade came to Lancefield Early Education Centre for a fire safety incursion. The kids had a blast learning about the role of our firefighters and what they can do in case there is a fire. There was an introduction to the “Get Down Low and Go Go Go” method which teaches kids what to do in case they are stuck somewhere with lots of smoke.

The video the Centre made after the incursion received hundreds of positive responses on the Centre’s Facebook page from both local parents, friends and educators.

The recent incursion is a part of the new eecIncursions (a monthly early education incursion) introduced by the Early Education Centres in Romsey and Lancefield. Since the introduction, the children attending both centres had enjoyed a great time with incursions of Australian native animals, Sea Life and Aboriginal Dance.
