Children are motivated to learn when they have the opportunity to make choices in an environment that is stimulating and enriching. When children are encouraged to experiment and explore following their interests, their learning will be enhanced and supported”
Our educational programs are developed based on the Victoria Early Years Learning and Development Framework. Our programs encourage children to communicate and interact with their peers and educators and develop language skills, intellect, fine motor skills, eye/hand co-ordination, gross motor skills and creativity.
In accordance with the Framework, our early education programs focus on the following Early Learning Years and Development Outcomes for all children cared for and educated in our centre:
– Children have a strong sense of identity,
– Children are connected with and contribute to their world,
– Children have a strong sense of wellbeing,
– Children are confident and involved learners,
– Children are effective communicators.
eecIncursion is our monthly educational incursion offered exclusively to children enrolled in our centres. Children have the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of interactive, hands-on workshops delivered by visiting experts.
Our series of eecincursions are exclusive to children enrolled at our centres and are integrated into our program to help children develop life skills, gain real-world experience and explore the world around them.
We believe that the success of a future generation depends on our children’s ability to use technology. That is why we are focused on the use of the iPad and internet resources in our early childhood education program.
Our eecTech program offers resources that are developed to enhance learning in early childhood. Children are guided in the use of the internet where they have access to educational experiences beyond their geographical boundaries.
